NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify a man believed to have robbed two convenience stores at knifepoint west of Nashville

Police said the man entered the Daily's on Highway 70 South at 4:50 a.m. on August 8 and demanded cash at knifepoint. The clerk and the man struggled before the robber fled with six packs of cigarettes.

About 30 minutes later, he entered the Mapco on Harding pike and demanded cash at knifepoint. The clerk complied.

Anyone who recognizes the man from surveillance photos is asked to contact West Precinct Investigations at 862-7385 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
