Posted: Updated:

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. - Drivers in Franklin witnessed an unusual sight over the weekend: an angry driver punching out the window of an SUV.

Police said Bobby Groves became angry when a man driving a Hummer cut him off on I-65 in Franklin.

According to a police report, Groves was driving a Honda Civic when he passed the Hummer on the shoulder, and stopped in front of the SUV. The driver of the Hummer was able to avoid a collision and stop his vehicle.

That's when police said Groves got out of his car, and punched the hood of the Hummer before punching out the window, and hitting the driver inside.

Police arrived to find Groves with an injured hand. He was arrested and charged with vandalism and assault.

The other driver was not seriously hurt.
