NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One day after two planes collided at Nashville International Airport, the damaged vehicles have been removed from the ramp.
A large crane had to be brought in to gently remove the two planes in order to limited additional damage. The two planes, a gulf stream aircraft corporate jet and a king air private plane collided just after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said while one of the planes was being towed, the tow bar broke causing it to crash into the other plane.
There were no passengers on board at the time of the collision and no injuries were reported.
