CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A passenger was killed a crash on 101st Parkway in Clarksville on Wednesday night.

Police said the three-vehicle crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. A 2011 GMC Arcadia, driven by Alonso Tovar, attempted to make a left turn onto Ringgold Road. Police said he failed to yield to a westbound 1998 Honda Accord, driven by 64-year-old Dae Kang, and they crashed.

The collision forced the Honda to hit a stopped Toyota 4-Runner, driven by 34-year-old Jacquelynn Jackson-Bunch.

Dae Kang and his wife, 65-year-old Tae Kang, who was a passenger, were taken by ambulance to Gateway Medical Center, where Tae passed away.

Dae Kang was admitted, treated, and released Thursday morning.

None of the other drivers were taken to the hospital.

Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The cause of death remained under investigation. Charges were pending.
