NASHVILLE, Tenn. - One very lucky mystery fan has won an evening with Dolly Parton through an auction bid at a charity.
According to All Access Music Group, on Saturday Dolly offered herself up to raise money for the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation, a group that supports the medical needs of families in Sevier County, Tennessee where Dolly grew up.
The winning bid for the date with Dolly was $138,000 made by an anonymous person and helped to bring the contributions to the charity to over $1 million. On their date, the two will tour Parton's Nashville homes, tour bus and her favorite music city spots. The date also includes a catered dinner and breakfast.
