17 Vehicle Burglaries Reported In Spring Hill Over Last Week

Posted: Updated:

SPRING HILL, Tenn. – The Spring Hill Police Department wants to find those responsible for breaking into at least 17 vehicles over the past week.

The department received the reports of the vehicle burglaries in Cherry Grove, Aston Woods, Meadow Brook, Hampton Springs, and Golf View Estate neighborhoods. Police said some of the cars were left unlocked, while others had the windows smashed.

The thieves made off with laptops, credit cards, a handgun, and other personal information belonging to the victims.

Police said at least one of the victim's debit cards was used at a Mapco in Nashville early in the morning on the day of the burglary.

"My guess is it's probably somebody coming from the Nashville area down here, because other agencies have had similar car burglaries this week, so they're probably hitting this whole area pretty hard and going back up,"said Mike Foster with the Spring Hill Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Spring Hill Police Department at 931-486-3269.
