NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The
Tennessee Department of Health is now saying that six people in Tennessee have been sickened by salmonella traced
back to cantaloupes.
The outbreak has killed
two people in Kentucky and sickened at least 141 people across several states. They think the contaminated cantaloupe is
coming from the southwestern part of Indiana. Health officials are telling customers not to
eat the fruit if it is from that region.
