Tennessee Tech Warns Employees of Security Breach

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- Tennessee Tech has informed several employees that there has been a security breach of their personal information.

The University sent out 42 letters to both current and former employees. Cookeville Police say a former TTU employee allegedly broke into the system and accessed the information.

The University will pay for credit monitoring services for those employees as well as start an audit process on how personal information is handled.
