NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have arrested a Nashville man accused of robbing two local pharmacies and suspected of robbing a third.

Police said 33-year-old Roy Brown was arrested on Monday, accused of robbing both the Walgreens on Clarksville Pike and the Walgreens on Dickerson Pike between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Officials said that Brown was spotted in the area driving recklessly and when officers pulled him over they found him to be extremely intoxicated and in possession of pill bottles stolen from the businesses.

Brown was charged with two counts of robbery and DUI. He was being held in lieu of $65,000 bond. At the time of his arrest he was on parole for the 2008 robbery of a Charlotte Pike motel.

His photo was withheld pending lineups for the August 11 robbery of the CVS pharmacy on Gallatin Avenue.
