NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A house in Donelson was seriously damaged after the kitchen caught fire on Tuesday morning.
Heavy smoke was reported when first responders got on the scene at the home in the 3100 block of Laurel Forest Drive around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
There were reports of gunshots in the area, but it turned out that paint cans inside the house exploded.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly. The home suffered serious damage, but no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
