High School Brawl Between Student, Adult Caught On Tape

Posted: Updated:

ANTIOCH, Tenn.- Shocking cell phone video of a fight between what appears to be a student and teacher at a local high school has recently come to light.

The video shows a brawl that took place Friday at Cane Ridge High School in Antioch. It clearly shows a frustrated adult -- and the student at the center of that frustration. It is important to point out no one will confirm if that adult is indeed a teacher.

In the audio, a person can be heard yelling "Come on, get up right now. Boy you better not put your hands on me. Get up! Right now! Put your hands on me again. Get up."

It appears that a teacher and student got into a fight in front of a class at Cane Ridge High School. Metro Nashville Public School have not released any information about this incident, but the family of the student involved has come forward.

The family said that 10th grader William Martin was expelled from school Friday. His uncle said that Martin was taken to the hospital to be checked out after the fight. A spokesperson from Metro Schools said that administrators were looking into what happened.
