Officer's Gun Taken During Domestic Dispute

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An officer came to town to see her boyfriend and he wound up in jail after taking her weapon.

The reserve officer from Mississippi was staying with her boyfriend at the Thrifty Inn on Harding Place near Interstate 24 when Metro Police said the two got into an argument around three Saturday morning.

Authorities said the boyfriend then assaulted the woman, took her police issued pistol and took off. Officers used the car's On-Star system to track him down and arrest him. Police tell us he also had previous warrants out for his arrest.
