Kelly Clarkson Concert At Ft. Campbell Set For September 9
FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – A concert by multiplatinum pop singer Kelly Clarkson at Fort Campbell that was postponed due to weather has been rescheduled for September 9.
The Air Force Reserve band will play at 5:30 p.m., followed by Fort Campbell's Rock 101 Band at 7 p.m., with Clarkson taking the stage at 8 p.m.
All military ID card holders in the Fort Campbell community are welcome to attend the free performance.
Clarkson was bringing her "Stronger" tour to Fort Campbell's parade field as a part of the Tour for the Troops. The free performance was to be part of the installation's Week of the Eagles anniversary celebration before inclement weather forced it to be postponed.
Clarkson, who was the first winner of American Idol in 2002, has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
