Water Main Break Forces Evacuation In Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A large water main break has forced the evacuation a local business Edmonson Pike area.

The water main break occurred just before 6 p.m. at the Kroger on Edmonson Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard, just outside Brentwood. Officials said the store was evacuated after ceiling tiles became saturated and there was concern they could fall on customers.

It was not clear what cause the water main break. Cleanup took several hours.
