NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A roadway has been reopened after a crash sent a electrical transformer through the roof of a tractor trailer.
The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. on College Street in Clarksville. Police said the driver of the tractor trailer 57-year-old Oran King, of Mt Juliet, swerved to avoid hitting a car and struck a utility pole. The force of the crash caused the transformer to dislodge and fall through the roof of the trailer.
There were no injuries reported in the crash. College Street was closed for several hours while crews cleared the scene and worked to repair the transformer.
