Reginald ClarkNASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have identified the man who was shot and killed outside his north Nashville home on Tuesday night.
Police officers responding to a shots fired call found 28-year-old Reginald Clark in his backyard in the 800 block of 32nd Avenue North around 10 p.m. He had been shot at least one time in the chest.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
Witnesses told police Clark walked out of his back door and moments later they heard gunshots. Witnesses also said they heard arguing prior to hearing gunshots.
Police said two men were reportedly seen running toward 33rd Avenue North.
Detectives were working to determine what led up to the shooting and if the victim knew the shooter.
