La Vergne Police Search For Masked Bank Robber

LA VERGNE, Tenn. - Police hope to find the masked man who robbed a Suntrust Bank in La Vergne Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at the Suntrust Bank on Murfreesboro Road just after 1 p.m. Police said a man entered the bank wearing a green mask and holding a gun. The suspect then demanded money from the tellers and fled the scene.

No one was hurt.

The suspect was described as a white male, who was wearing a black long sleeved shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, a black baseball hat and a green mask.

Anyone with information about this bank robbery was asked to contact the La Vergne Police at (615) 793-6295.
