'Bartender Bash' Names Nashville's Best Mixologists

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Local Nashvillians spent the evening sipping on special signature cocktails made by some of Music City's favorite mixologists.

On Wednesday, the seventh annual "Bartender Bash" was held at Union Station Hotel. Bartenders from Nashville area restaurants competed in a unique competition, showcasing their original creations in the categories of "most creative cocktail" and "best (Belvedere) Red martini."

Folks from restaurants like Virago, Tavern, and The Palm competed see came up with the most creative cocktail at the event.

When the winners were announced, Jake Williams from Sambuca won best martini for his Lemon Rose Martini. Joy Brooks from over at Nero's Grill came away with the Most Creative Cocktail award for her Lemon Basil Jalapeño Cocktail and the People's Choice cocktail was given to Kenneth Randolph from Tavern for a creation he called "Fortune's Fool."
