DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Authorities in Dickson County rounded up criminals on Thursday morning.
NewsChannel 5 reporter Jennifer Reyes and photojournalist Pete Burd were embedded with authorities from the Dickson Police Department, Dickson County Sheriff's Office, the 23rd Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol attempting to serve eight arrest warrants.
It is part of a larger roundup of 78 individuals.
While the majority of the arrests were on drug charges, others were arrested on other lesser criminal charges.
Authorities asked our crews to stay back as they went to make the arrests, as it was unclear if the criminals could be armed and dangerous.
Those arrested were taken to the Dickson County jail for processing.
