Man Shot In Neck At Clarksville Home

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to find out who shot a man in the neck at a Clarksville home.

The 24-year-old man was found conscious and breathing at a home on Riverview Drive around 8:50 a.m. Thursday. The man was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in stable condition. His identity was not released.

Witnesses heard sounds of a struggle inside the house as well as a gunshot before seeing the man on the floor with a gunshot wound and two men running at the house.

An officer along with K-9 was able to track the suspects to the Kelly area lane, where the track stopped.

Police gathered several items of physical evidence at the crime scene.

Police said the suspects were described as a white male and a black male in their late teens or early 20s.
