Crash Slows Traffic On I-24 Near Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Traffic on Interstate 24 was tied up for several hours Friday evening after a crash left vehicles at a standstill.

The wreck happened on I-24 Westbound near mile marker 18, just outside of Clarksville around 6 :30 p.m. Officials said that a Mountaineer SUV went off the roadway after the driver suffered some type of medical emergency.

Traffic was stalled for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
