DYERSBURG, Tenn.- It's been nearly a year since a West Tennessee mom's murder and still no arrests have been made, but according to the Dyer County's Sheriff evidence is being prepared for a murder trial.
The remains of the 44-year-old Karen Swift, a mother of four, were found on December 10, 2011, in a cemetery just a few miles from her home. Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box said multiple people have been eliminated as suspects but the investigation is ongoing, and they hope more lab results on evidence will help solve the case.
