NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An alert patrol officer stopped a burglary at the site of the city's largest construction project.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol officer heard glass breaking while patrolling the Music City Center construction site on Monday morning. He went to investigate and found the suspect, 30-year-old Jesse Chow, ransacking the office trailer.
The officer caught him by surprise, took him into custody, and held him for Metro police.
Chow was caught with his hand wrapped in a towel, which police said could be evidence of how he shattered the glass window on the trailer.
He was booked on aggravated criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools, identity theft, and attempted burglary charges.
Chow was held on $23,000 combined bond.
