NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A zookeeper at the Nashville Zoo was injured by a giant anteater while cleaning Tuesday morning.
Officials from the Zoo said that the keeper was in the giant anteater breeding facility when she suffered injuries from the giant anteater's claws. 911 was called and the keeper was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
The keepers injuries were not life threatening and she was released after treatment.
