PARIS, Tenn. (AP) - A young West Tennessee boy has been critically injured in a fall from the inn at Paris Landing State Park.
According to the Paris Post-Intelligencer, no one saw 7-year-old Daniel Minkio Kim fall. However a witness said she heard a noise and then saw the boy crying on the ground Monday afternoon.
A Henry County Sheriff's Office report indicated the boy could have fallen as far as five stories. Deputy Wayne Fuqua said it is possible the boy was climbing on the outside of the building.
The child was in critical condition Wednesday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joung H. Kim of Cordova.
The parents said they were checking out from a weekend conference at the hotel when their son fell.
