We are on schedule to begin a transition to our updated signals on Thursday and Friday.
Tomorrow morning after 8am, one of NewsChannel 5's signals will be interrupted for at least two hours while we make the necessary connections for the updated signal.
If you lose reception during this period or are currently not receiving a NewsChannel 5 signal, it will be necessary for you to rescan your TV or converter box to regain reception of NewsChannel 5 AFTER the connections are complete.
We will contact you again via email once it is ok to rescan.
If your rescan is unsuccessful on Thursday, there will be a similar procedure for our translator signal, a second signal, on Friday.
