NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have charged a man with three counts of criminal homicide after the brutal stabbing of a teenager, his mother and grandmother in Bellevue.
Police said that 41-year-old Craig Allen Garber was charged in the stabbing deaths of 71- year-old Marylea Jordan, her daughter 48-year-old Michelle Pinkowski and grandson 14-year-old Jonathan Culpepper inside their home on Beech Bend Drive last Sunday.
The only person to survive the attack was Pinkowski's 9-year-old daughter.
Officials believed that Garber stabbed himself just before police arrived at the scene. He was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition. He was later transferred to a secure ward at General Hospital.
Police said Garber will be jailed when his medical condition allows.
