NASHVILLE, Tenn.- He's already made an impact on country music right here in Nashville, but singer-songwriter Vince Gill received a new honor, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I remember as a 19 year old kid walking these streets and looking at these stars, you know the truth is, it never even entered my mind that, that would ever be a possibility," said Gill.
Lots of paparazzi were there to record the moment as well as Vince's wife Amy Grant -- and his daughter Jenny. Gill got started in the entertainment industry when he moved to Los Angeles at just 19-year old and started a bluegrass band. He then moved to Nashville in the eighties.
His star is at 6901 Hollywood Boulevard, next to Hard Rock Hollywood and Amy Grant's star is just one star away.
