Tevin Lumpkin
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said a West Tennessee murder suspect who had been on the state's top 10 most wanted list has been arrested in Virginia.
The TBI said Friday that U.S. marshals arrested 20-year-old Tevin Lumpkin of Milan late Thursday outside a convenience store in Norfolk, Virginia. He is awaiting extradition to Tennessee.
Lumpkin had been wanted by the Henry County sheriff's office in connection with the death of 41-year-old Eric Kinley of Paris.
Authorities said Kinley was shot August 25 at Fahrenheit 101, a nightclub located on Highway 79 in Paris, after he was involved in a confrontation.
The TBI also said that 23-year-old Cody Harmon, an alleged associate of Lumpkin's, was arrested in Henderson County on a murder charge related to the shooting.
