FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Franklin Police want to identify a man wanted for the robbery of a Mapco last month.
Police said the man robbed the Mapco at 240 Franklin Road shortly before 3:30 a.m. on August 26. He allegedly reached over the counter to grab cash when the clerk opened the register during a transaction.
The man claimed to have a weapon when the clerk tried to stop him. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone with information or who recognizes the man in the surveillance photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615) 794-4000. They will pay up to $1,000 for information.
