At Least One Injured In Acid Spill Near Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At least one person was injured in a small acid spill at a business near the Nashville International Airport.

Metro Police dispatch said a small amount of acid spilled at the Aircraft Maintenance Center at 10 Airways Boulevard around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The spill was contained.

One person who was burned was treated for injuries.

Police did not say what caused the spill.
