Large Marijuana Operation Discovered In Coffee County

COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. – A large marijuana grow operation was discovered in Coffee County.

A flyover by the drug task force spotted what appeared to be a large marijuana crop.

Agents on the ground moved in and confiscated more than 112 plants from a large garden around a home off Harpo Road.

They also recovered several guns, and a stolen ATV.

No arrests were made, but investigators said they have good leads.

All of the marijuana will be destroyed.

The shooting happened Sunday evening at a basketball court on Sam Ridley Parkway. According to police, the victim and others were driving away after the fight when a car pulled up next to them and shot into the car.more>>
