Founder Of Leadership Middle Tennessee Honored

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Leaders from across Middle Tennessee gathered to honor a man who helped unite our ten county region.

Jack Turner is the co-founder of Leadership Middle Tennessee. He is stepping down as chairman. On Wednesday, in a surprise dinner he was recognized for his achievements.

"We have great patriots like Jack Turner. Great citizens like Jack Turner. And you can't find anyone in this country that supports our soldiers and our families, better than Jack Turner," said Major General James McConville, the Commanding General of the 101st Airborne.

Leadership Middle Tennessee was founded in 1999. Leaders from across the region are chosen every year to go through the program and more than 300 have graduated!
