Fisher House Breaks Ground In Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- After years in the making the Fisher House has finally broken ground.

Murfreesboro will soon be home to the newest Fisher House, for families of veterans and soldiers getting treatment. The patients will come from the Nashville and Murfreesboro VA Medical Centers. A shuttle will be provided so relatives can commute to the hospital every day.

Officials say it will give families a great meal, a comfortable home, and a strong support system.

The best part it's all for free. All the money for the Fisher House comes from public donations.
