Police Searching For Suspect In East Nashville Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police have asked for help to identify the suspect who they said forcefully took cash from the register at a Subway restaurant in East Nashville.

The male suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the story at 2420 Gallatin Avenue at 3:25 p.m. on Monday, September 3.

Witnesses told police the suspect fled the scene in a "newer" silver car. They were unable to see the license plate.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s or 30s with brown hair. He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 170 pounds.

Police said the man had a beard and mustache at the time of robbery.
