NASHVILLE, Tenn.-
Police have apprehended the suspect wanted for robbing a bank in Hermitage
Friday afternoon.
According to officials
the robbery occurred at the US Bank on Lebanon Pike just before 4 p.m. Witnesses inside the bank told police that the
bank was robbed by a man armed with a knife.
After demanding money from the teller the man fled the scene on foot.
Police said the man ran from the bank to his home on Juarez Drive and went inside. Citizens who saw the man
run from the bank pointed officers in the right direction. When police came to
the man's house they found that he had simply gone inside and changed clothes. Witnesses
were able to positively identify him as the bank robbery
47-year-old Randy Fielder was arrested about 10
minutes after the robbery. He was expected to be charged federally with bank
robbery.
