Police Respond To Shooting Near Basketball Court

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police are on the scene of a shooting near a basketball court in South Nashville.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Friday, in the area around 14th Avenue South and Edgehill Avenue. Police said a person was shot at the basketball courts there. Police have not said how seriously the victim was injured in the shooting or if the shooter has been arrested.
