NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police are searching for a man they said robbed a woman at knife point while she was using at ATM.
Police said the robbery happened at the ATM at Bank of America's 2720 Lebanon Pike branch on September 2, 2012. According to officials the woman was in her car and had just withdrawn cash from the ATM when the suspect leaned into her driver's side window, placed a knife to her throat and demanded the money. The victim quickly complied, handing over the cash she had just withdrawn. When the suspect demanded that she take out more money, the accelerated her vehicle and the suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was described as a white man who appeared to be in his 30s. He was thought to be about 5'10" tall. At the time of the robbery police said the man was wearing a Green Bay Packers ball cap.
