FAIRVIEW, Tenn. – Detectives from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office are investigating a recent rash of home break ins near the Fairview city limits.

"Three in two days is scary, and close by. It really is," said resident Phyllis Jones.

She lives not far from a home that was broken into Tuesday afternoon. Detectives believe the same man is responsible for all three break ins this week.

A crucial clue in this case came Tuesday when the burglar was unknowingly captured on a home security camera.

"Had no idea, walked right past it, almost up to it as close as we are and had no idea," said Sharon Puckett from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.

The video is very clear and captured a good image of the suspected burglar's face.

"Our main focus is to find the person who's on that video and the sheriff's office will find him," Puckett said.

The burglar has gotten away with electronics, jewelry and guns.

Jones and her neighbors are on edge after three break ins in one week. They are also more vigilant about what is going on in their area.

"We got a description, one description of a color of truck so we've been kind of watching for that because we don't usually see that vehicle around and we haven't seen it around. So, just keeping our eyes out," Jones said.

If you think you recognize the man in the surveillance video you can call the Williamson County Sheriff's Office at 615-790-5554 or Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000,
