NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A Nashville fire truck was involved in a crash on its way to help put out a fire Tuesday afternoon.
The wreck happened in the 1200 block of Horton Avenue around 4:30 p.m. as Engine 35 was on its way to battle a fire at the Edgehill Apartments. Other engines were able to quickly respond to the apartment fire and it was put out with no injuries reported.
The Nashville Fire Department assessment management was called out to the Horton Avenue crash to investigate the damage to the vehicle, but said no firefighters were seriously hurt. It was unclear what caused the crash, or what driver was at fault.
