LEBANON, Tenn. – Wilson Central High School in Lebanon was placed on lock down because of a bomb threat. The lockdown has since been lifted.
Officials with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office confirmed the lockdown Thursday morning.
Director of schools Mike Davis said a scribbled note was found one of the bathrooms.
Students remained in their classrooms while sheriff's deputies and bomb-sniffing K-9 units swept the building as a precaution. They found nothing suspicious.
The lockdown was lifted just before 11:40 a.m.
Davis said officials followed normal procedure and found the note was not a credible source.
