NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Nashville's Urban Housing
Solutions has announced they are now able to provide healthcare services to those in need.
The new program is funded by the Bank of America and they're partnering up with the Vanderbilt School of Nursing. The clinic is located at the Mercury Courts location off Murfreesboro Pike. Residents will have not only a place to call home, but a health clinic on-site.
"What they get here is they get a place to call home, people to associate with and to make friends with, and they get a staff of social workers, health advocates, and now we have a clinic that could provide them with services," said Rusty Lawrence, the Executive Director of Urban Housing.
Clinic services are free to all UHS residents.
