Bank Robbery Suspect Gets Cold Feet

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Murfreesboro Police have asked for the public's help to identify a man who tried to rob a local bank.

The attempted robbery happened at the Bank of America on Middle Tennessee Boulevard around noon Wednesday. The teller told police the man handed her a folded note that read: "Give me $10,000, and NO alarms."

The employee started looking around to get someone's attention and that's when the suspect grabbed the note and ran out of the building.

Anyone who might recognize the man was asked to call Murfreesboro Crime Stoppers at 893-7867.
