NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A man who had already been sentenced to 50 years in prison, but was out on parole was been accused by police of murdering a Nashville homeless woman.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said that parolee Napoleon Harvey admitted to killing 39-year-old Stephanie Alexander after an argument inside his car on the night of September 4th. Alexander's body was found in an alley between 4th and 5th Avenues near Buchanan Street the next day.
Harvey was sentenced to 50 years for robbery in 1983. He was paroled in 2006.
