NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man died Saturday night after he was shot at the Nashville West Shopping Center. Joshua McLean, 30, and his brother met with two men regarding an ad on Craigslist for a gun.
When Joshua got out of the car in the parking lot, his brother heard two gunshots. That's when he found his brother lying in between two cars bleeding. Officials believe he was shot twice in the chest.
The men jumped in an unknown vehicle and drove away. Joshua was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he later died. Police said Joshua and his brother were planning to sell guns, but they were recovered at the scene.
The gun used to kill Josh was not one of his own. Officers are working with Craigslist to obtain any information on the people who were taking part in the transaction.
