Murder Suspect Leads Police on Chase

OAK GROVE, Ky.- A man wanted for murder led police in Kentucky on a chase all the way to Tennessee.

Police in Oak Grove, Kentucky say around 3:00 Sunday morning, they responded to a shooting in the parking lot of a Mapco on Segler Drive. One person was killed and another taken to a hospital.

When police caught up with the suspected gunman, Hersey Mitchell, they say he led them on a chase all the way to Clarksville. He's being held at the Montgomery County jail awaiting extradition back to Kentucky where he will face murder charges.
