MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- A
group of students from Middle Tennessee State University honored a fraternity
brother Sunday night who is now gone, but who will not soon be forgotten.
Members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
held a benefit to support 18-year-old Jacob Nunley's family. He passed away
earlier this month after catching Bacterial Meningitis. Friends and family members
gathered, many of them proudly wearing shirts with Jacob's name, at the Boulevard Bar and Grill Sunday. The
restaurant donated 10 percent of all sales to Jacob's family.
"The outpouring of
support, not just back home, but here for my family and especially my sister,
for my nephew, is a tribute for him and the person he was," said Chris Wilson,
Jacob's Uncle.
Jacob's friends say they
auctioned off thousands of dollars' worth of prizes Sunday night.
