Man Seriously Injured In Alcohol-Related Stabbing

LA VERGNE, Tenn. – A man was seriously injured in an alcohol-related stabbing in La Vergne.

The stabbing occurred at a home on Sunrise Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday.

The male victim was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition on Monday.

No warrants have been issued, and no identities were released.

City of La Vergne Public Relations director Kathy Tyson said alcohol was involved.
