NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville woman indicted in connection with the brutal murder of her own husband has been arrested.

Ashly Thompson, 35, was indicted Friday with being an accessory after the fact. On Tuesday, she was arrested by Metro Police officers.

The decapitated body of 48-year-old Erman Thompson was discovered by a mail carrier in a field near his home on Claiborne Street in July. His head was found in the garbage can behind his home the following day.

Police arrested his longtime friend, 37-year-old Henry James Baxter, and charged him with first degree murder. The grand jury has now also indicted Baxter on charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. He remains in jail of $750,000 bond.

The couple and Baxter lived together on Claiborne Street. Detectives believe that Ashly Thompson lied to them in the initial stages of the murder investigation and withheld information.

Thompson was held on $10,000 bond.
