NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police said an organized duo made off with thousands of dollars worth of bras and took a one-year-old child along for the ride.
Officials have charged Porscha Bennett and Jothony Smith with smuggling 74 high-end bras out of a Victoria's Secret store in Murfreesboro. Police said the two used specially-designed bags which shielded the bras from the theft alarm system as they walked out the door. Employees spotted the women and called police who arrested them in the parking lot.
During a search of their car police discovered a one-year-old child in the backseat. The child was unharmed and returned to family members. In addition to the theft, Smith, the child's mother, also faces reckless endangerment charges.
